I sometimes work as a vacation photographer and take photos of tourists around Vienna and this was the case with Clarissa.
I picked her up from her hotel on the ring and our first stop was Karls Kirche (St. Karls church) at Karlsplatz. This is a beautiful church with long pillars and at 9am there were very few people around and we took some lovely shots in front of the church.
Next on the list was the Opera house but they were setting up for a new opera and there were lots of workmen around. So we headed up to Albertina and got some great shots from the balcony that looks out onto the Opera house without too many workmen in the shot.
From there we headed to Burggarten and through to Heldenplatz where we took some photos of the National Library, the Prince Eugen statue and the Rathaus (city hall).
We ended up at Stephensplatz for photos in front of Stephensdom (St. Stephens cathedral) where we found a lovely ray of light reflected off the building opposite.
