A friend wanted some portrait photography taken around Vienna at dusk and we decided to walk around the area near Vorgartenstrasse. There was a lovely park there with some long grass and so we started there. The sun was just poking over the top of the buildings and hitting the grass, giving it such a lovely colour and I took some amzing portraits there. We then walked down to the unbuilt area near the old watertower and there were some lovely old railway pillars piled up in a heap which made a nice background. We then turned around and got some portraits with the blurred city lights behind. The light was dropping fast so I was very happy to have my external flash with me, first to fill the shadows and then later to act as the primary light.
